How to loose money to CSSA/ICSA's

If you thought getting your Company Secretary qualification via the Chartered Secretaries Southern Africa institute think again. I would recommend that you study via WITS or UNISA. Despite me having been paid up in full and informing them well ahead of time I will not be sitting the October 2013 exam long before the postponement deadline. They have demanded I pay an amount equivalent to the exam fee I have already paid them for qualify for the postponement. When I queried what happens to the exam fee I have already paid them for Oct 2013 they say I loose it. Of their own accord they re-register me for the exam and I am marked as absent. What does the institute use this money for if not for marking our exams? Last year I paid form R180 for an academic record they say they post to you (certified) I have yet to receive that in the post. I deem as other students in the past have that CSSA/ICSA is really a money making scheme. If you want this qualification go to the other educational institutes and not them directly. I am unfortunate being one of the old students the other institutes will not take me or give me credits. I have to start at the beginning and I only have 3 subject left
