Norscott Pre-primary School
Deposit not returned

Both of my children left Norscott Pre-Primary at the end of December 2012 school year. The owner Mandy Bouwer guaranteed that my deposit would be returned by 31st December 2012. This never happened. With my eldest son, I gave notice on the 22/11/2012. I have not received this deposit yet. With my youngest I gave notice on the 3/12/2012. So two months after giving notice for my 1st son and 1 and a half months after I gave notice for my youngest son, I have still not received a cent. I am owed a total of R4593. The owner has consistantly come up with all sorts of excuses: Bank account is empty; Policies are being cancelled in order to pay bills etc. This is all nonsense and not my problem. When my sons were students not once did I pay late or miss a payment AND my wife arranged synthetic grass for the school for free. This alone costs a fortune. I have been driven to the point where I will now be taking legal action. I do not recommend this school to anybody as it appears that all is not well with this business. Maybe a case of not knowing how to manage cash flow... I am deeply dissapointed in this school and it's owner.
