Waiting for exam results from April 2013

My son wrote exam for two N2 Electrical Engineering subjects (Electrical Trade Theory N2 and Industrial Electronics N2) which he studied at the FET College Sasolburg during the first Trimester 2013. The results was due to be published before or at the start of the second trimester so that he can continue with follow up subjects. It is now the end of the second trimester and we are still waiting for the exam results.
Rumors are that there were exam question papers that leaked out and therefor the delay. More rumors are that students will have to re-write the exam.
That is absolutaly absurd.
