January 2013 i lost a laptop which i bought with insurance from EDU-LOAN in 2012. I reported the incident and sent in an insurance claim in january still, to which EDU-LOAN responded with due diligence, they informed me that the laptop deal i had chosen did not come with insurance and that it was a clerical error on the brochure, which of cause is not my problem since i had been paying for this pc for a year and no one contacted me to inform me about their clerical error. In May Benita then told me that my claim had been approved and a new computer will be delivered to me the first week of june, which did not happen, i called them to enquire they said they would bring it the following week, i have since been calling edu loan only to be met by empty promises and incompetence, now they are not even taking my calls anymore. i am a photography student at TUT and not having a computer impacts negatively on my studies. i do not know what else I can do, i have been patient its now almost end of july, i do not know how edu loan expects students to wait 4-5 months for their claims to be approved and a further 2 months for delivery, we are STUDENTS, WE DONT BUY THESE PCS TO LOOK COOL
