Farrarmere Square
Disturbing of peace

The Farrarmere Square is situated in Kei Road in a residential suburb. We live accross the square. When the woolworths were renovated they were "building" grinding throughout the night for weeks, even when I complaint quite a few times with the squares management. Now they are letting out a space to a bakery to be opened, and they also started to renovate during night time. They did not even made the effort to inform the residents that they will be making a noice. I have two small babies (one who had an operation) and I work full time, I can't really cope with contractors working during night time. Most shops close at 17:00. They can work from 17:00 to 21:00 and again from 06:00 to 09:00. Why work during the night. It is a residential area and surely the square have to have rules about times that the restaurants have to stop making noice? It is unacceptable and disturbance of peace. No one would appreciate if their nabout start mowing the lawn at 2 o"clock in the morning. Why should we settle for weeks of building noice at night?
