Renaiging on Responsabilaty

I am developer on the east rand and decided to use this so called steel framing roof structure for a development that I am busy with, as this project is very green we really thought that it could only be to our advantage. At the factory visit the Manager "owner" we are not sure Mr Burger Kruger personally took us on the tour and assured us of the best service and support with his product, technically personally and on site training under their supervision for the first roof. as his product is also, according to him, more user friendly and more economical. However, it cost us more than TEN thousand rand more than the conventional roof would cost. We still felt it to be worth it as we want our product to have a good green rating at the end of it all. They could not deliver their product on time, no assistance came forth, and now we are battling to get hold of the Engineer they recommended to approve their product as we need the certificate of approval.
I find this unacceptable that people can show their face on TV about the product but don't give the service they promoted. WAS THE ECO TV PROJECT ALSO JUST BECAUSE THE PRESENTER MORE THAN LIKELY RECEIVED THEIR PRODUCT FREE .?
