Did not deliver on a job that deposit was paid fo

Kakaboy was approached by my company to quote on a job (refurbishing) in one of the buildings on the company's property. The quote was accepted and the deposit was paid. After a few weeks (me having to call and ask when they would be there to start the job) they arrived. The one portion of the job was completed but the other (tiling) was not. It is now over 3 months and my company has had to use another contractor to complete the job. I have emailed Kakaboy asking for a portion of the deposit back as I feel that the job that was complete did not warrant the entire deposit. I have had no response at all. I find them unprofessional and dishonest and also very over priced.
I would like my deposit (1/2) back asap and warn other people to be wary of contracting them to do jobs.
