Do Not Hire These Guys

We made the mistake of hiring Marco, who owns Tree Felling JHB [URL Removed] to cut down 6 trees. He promised a swift job, minimal damage, constant site supervision, knowledgeable labour that has been working for him for years.

What we got:

- A DAMAGED BOUNDARY wall that needs to be rebuilt due to a tree hitting it when it was felled.
- They also cut down the WRONG TREE... despite me repeatedly telling Marco to leave the tree as it was a lovely tree.
- Marco was not on site all the time - in fact when they cut down the wrong tree when he was off site. I actually barely saw him towards the end.
- The garden was completely damaged - we have to re-landscape it.
- They broke our electric fence.
- It turns out that the treefellers do not actually work for Marco- they barely know him. I asked him if he knew the guys well and he said yes!
- Marco promised that the rubble would be cleared in a couple of days- but he suddenly disappeared. He didn't answer messages, emails or phone calls. Three days later he emails us and tells us that trucks will arriving to collect the rubble - they didn't come.
We have had to hire someone else to clear the rubble!

DONT HIRE THEM!!
