Roof needs replacing? Beware of Ayoba Roofing!

Does the roof of your house need to be replaced? When choosing a roofing company beware of Ayoba Roofing CC and its owner/director Griff Fitzsimmons. They abandoned the re-roofing of my house after they cashed in on the deposit and several advances on the final account and left me in the lurch to source another roofer at high cost to finish off the project after several months.
Fitzsimmons' overall approach to the project was unprofessional and characterised by a lack of planning and management - of labour, materials, time and finance. The latter led to the abandonment of the project.
Client constantly had to monitor the quality of workmanship to ensure that he was getting the quality product and service that he was paying for as the contractor was mostly at other sites.
Eventually the contractor did not have the money to purchase the required material and left sections open to the elements. Fitzsimmons and his workers did not return to site again. A convertor of ZincAlume told us that Ayoba allegedly owes them a substantial amount of money for products supplied. Fortunately this all happened in the Gauteng winter.
