INCORRECT PART DESPITE PROVISION OF ORIGINAL SAMPL

After calling the above company to confirm that they had stock of an overarm swivel for a mixer tap that I required to which I was replied in the positive, I sent a staff member who had to catch a taxi to Blairgowrie from Rosebank
armed with the original overarm swivel which had broken as a perfect sample of what we required.
When my staff member arrived back with a fitting that is too big for the connection, I called Manly's immediately to report what had transpired. Alex offered no apology only to say that it was probably an international fitting. I found that I was forced to ask what could be done about rectifying it to be told that I would have to get back to the store and get a refund.
Surely, by virtue of taking every precaution to ensure no mistakes were made by sending the exact part, this could have been avoided. Alex was quite dismissive and totally disinterested in my plight.
I took the trouble to ensure that I sent Raymond to a plumbing supplier thinking that the very least they would not be able to find the correct fitting but not simply send something without first checking the sample I sent.

A total waste of a day and disappointing service. NOT HAPPY!
