The staff at CubeIT are particularly useless

I think I got a pretty good deal on 2 Sony laptops this week, but the service was pretty bad.

The laptops were marked down to R 11 399.00, but the guy who helped me took 4 attempts to get the invoice right.

First, he used the list price, not the marked down price. Then he took three stabs at multiplying 11399 by 2. If I hadn't been awake I would have been charged about a thousand rand too much.

I also wanted MS Office for the laptops, and he sold me 2 packs, which I discovered (at home) is a total of 6 licenses. So R899 too much.

My wife took the extra pack back for a refund, but there was not enough cash in the shop (she did not have my ccard).

We went back later, and got the R899, but was given R879, so I needed to be awake again.

A R25000.00 sale deserves better service.

I need to buy a few more things: laptop carry cases/backpacks, possibly Photoshop, maybe a 2nd external drive. Where am I going to get service that doesn't look like people are taking me for a ride?

Probably not CubeIT...
