Don't ever buy a Mecer of Pacard bell product!!!

I bought a brand new/ top of the range Packard Bell laptop during October 2012 from Makro Cape Gate which only last me till during August 2013 when the hard drive crashed. It was sent in for repairs to Mecer Midrand and weeks later when I got it back, they refused to sent me back my old hard drive so that I can have it sent in for data recovery, it's of intellectual property and the more I tried to explain that to them the more they avoided my phone calls.

My laptop is now a dummy, slow, not responding as it should and worst of all there was no software i.e. Microsoft Office installed on my laptop and might I just as well throw this laptop in the rubbish bin. "They were suppose to give me back my laptop in the same / better condition it was as when it was sent in for the repair of a new hard drive".

Please, please, please don't support Packard Bell or Mecer, they are arrogant, refuse to talk to you when you call their offices in Midrand and whilst you get all worked up the other side, they are just not worried about their reputation or the fact that you need your data to continue to do your work!!!
