I Purchased a laptop battery on 27/3/2012.
I do not use the Laptop much on Battery power.
On the 13/8/2012 i reported to them that the battery was faulty.
They replaced it with no problem as it was within the 1yr warranty and was indeed faulty, great, but...

I have subsequently not used the laptop much, and always on AC power.

last week I made sure the battery was fully charged before use, as i was moving between rooms at home.
I pulled the AC power out the laptop and immediately the laptop warned me of no battery and switched off.
It is exactly the same problem as the first Battery.

I reported it to them a week ago, and they said the Battery is out of the 1yr Warranty period and therefore void.
Surely the new Battery should have had its own 1yr warranty as it is a new unit!!!

Speaking with the chap there (Deon Strijdom) today he absolutely refutes this and the manner in which he spoke to me was unpleasant and unprofessional to say the least.

Now I am R745 rand down with no working battery!!!
