I have always been a loyal supporter of Toyota products, having bought 4 Toyota cars in the past as well as their premium brand Lexus of which I bought 1 car. I booked a test drive at the N1 city Toyota branch to test drive the new Rav4, arranged with the salesperson Jerome to do so at 12h30 on Saturday the 27th April. On arrival at 12h25, I stated the purpose of my visit to the receptionist who called Jerome on the phone. She notified me that he was on his way, and that he went to fetch some vehicle. 15 minutes later, she again called him on the phone, again I was told that he would be on his way. He eventually arrived 10 minutes later, talking on his cellphone, acknowledged my presence by winking to me, and telling me that he would be with me shortly. I again waited a further 10 minutes in the sales area with no Jerome in sight, and left without any test drive, not having been assisted and feeling disappointed that so little effort is made to look after a loyal customer and prospective buyer of your brands' products. It appears as if you are not interested in selling your products and that your sales personnel are more interested in chatting to their friends. Goodbye Toyota.
