In Jan I purchased a new Megane. I knew it was risky with the bad reputation Renault have in regards to customer service but was impressed by the car and the promises and efforts that appeared to be in place to better their reputation. I took delivery on 15 Jan and right away my heart sank when during the show and tell for operation I noticed the daytime LED lights were not working, resulted in me sitting around waiting over an hour while they tried to sort it out without any success. Magically the next day they were working fine however the built in TomTom software was not working correctly and after a number of calls back and visits to the dealer without success I called TomTom support in the UK myself to sort everything out, 5 long cell calls and a subscription to live services (that I was supposed to get 3 months free with vehicle) later it finally was working. Informed guys at Renault and was promised to be paid back for this which never happened. Over a month ago now I received a pretty hefty speeding fine for the vehicle I had traded in, which happened a week after the sale, I have forwarded this through to Renault and been promised feedback and once again nothing.
