Imperial Select Multi Franchise
Offering vehicle for sale without mandate to sell

Cars & Transport

I am extremely disappointed and very upset with the service I received from your Multifranchise Kia Midrand dealership. I placed an online enquiry I was contacted by Tammy from the dealership who informed me she had a 2013 White Kia Tec demo on the floor which they would sell to me. I visited the branch the next day and filled in the OTP as well as paid a R500 holding deposit for the car. I was then told as the car was still held as a demo it would take between 2 weeks to a month to get it released and invoiced for purchase, at this point I was still very excited so I agreed. I arranged finance based on the price of a new car but was assured that the price would be discounted due to the fact that it was being driven and would have some mileage on the clock. I have been constantly following up with Tammy who promises to follow up and revert but she has never contacted me or returned calls, it is always me that follows up to empty promises. Today I phoned Jaco Odendal the sales manager who now tells me that they have to wait until July to release the car. This is ridiculous, how are you able to offer someone the vehicle if you do not have the authority or mandate to sell the car???
