My partner and I decided to pay a premium in order to reduce the already stressful prospect of moving out of our home. Key Moves workers and processes ensured that this was to be the most stressful move ever. Workers were drunk. There was gross negligence with minimal effort to ensure that nothing was damaged. Furniture, books and other goods were damaged before transit. Property was damaged due to negligence. There was confusion the entire day as workers mixed up goods that need to go to storage. Staff were constanty arguing and fighting amongst each other. The day began at 08:00 and at 18:30 I was still sitting amongst furniture and boxes waiting to transfer them to storage. The storage facility (5 minutes away) had closed by this time which meant when my stuff was finally loaded it had to sit in a Key Moves truck over the weekend. Days later when my goods were brought to the storage facility in a different delivery vehicle, packaging was torn tattered and furniture damaged further. And to add insult to injury, I had to deal with an unsympathetic, arrogant manager by the name of Dean who spoke down to me and whose only concern was that they get the rest of their money.
