Kombi messed up but sorted according to VW

My kombi was sent In for repairs twice (in Feb and March), for a rattling sound by the wheel, in March it was there for 3 days as we were going on a trip to Cape Town yet we were assured nothing was wrong! All through the trip we still heard the noises as if the wheels want to fall out. Once we arrived in Cape Town we took the kombi in to Somerset West VW where the guy picked up it was the cv joints. We were then told the issue could only be sorted in 3 days. Today (25 March) we told the damage is worth R10000 and it will only be sorted on Thursday-we are currently on holiday without any transport and yet it is our problem!
My daughter is getting married in CT and we have so many things to sort, hence we came with the kombi.
We also were not aware the maintenance plan expired when the car reached 60000 k's as this wasn't brought to our attention when it was taken in the last two times, clearly nothing was checked when it went in and we wouldnt of had to pay R10000 now and it could of been sorted while in jhb but now we need to wait for parts from there.
My husband and i own 5 VW cars and I'm highly disappointed in this but will not leave it at this!!
