Rented Vehicle Breakdown

I hired a vehicle from Budget to drive to Brits. On the first night, the vehicle has a rattling noise but because I was driving at night in an unfamiliar area, I didnt want to stop. The second day when driving to the airport, the rattling noise still continued and now a oil light and water coolant light was flashing.

About 25 km away from the airport the vehicle started smoking and it went dead. I immediatetly called the Budget centre. After promising to phone me back, no one did! I eventually had to call them four more times trying to explain where I was! I was in tears, scared and frustrated because I was going to miss my flight. I was stranded on the side of the road for an hour before budget finally picked me up!

When the patron picked me up, he had the nerve to ask if I'm okay when I was clearly in tears and frustrated. No one from budget bothered to apologise and check if I managed to get my flight or not, no one cared! Anything could have happened to me while stranded on the side of the road in a strange city! I am honestly disappointed at the service I received. All rented vehicles must be checked before they are hired out! This was BAD SERVICE!
