I placed an order from China and it was shipped the same day (13 March), arriving in JHB on the 14th of March. It eventually passed customs and got sent to Cape Town on the 19th of March. And is now stuck there. I paid for 3-5 day DHL delivery and find it atrocious that I still do not have my parcel. Phoning DHL, I get excuses that they had to change codes on the import form and that it keeps getting rejected by customs due to system errors or other such and each time there is an 8-12 hour (working hours!!!) delay in getting a response from customs.?? If I had wanted to WAIT for my package I would have opted for cheap airmail and not courier fees!!! If this was 1920 I would find this kind of turnaround acceptable but we are NOT living in the dark ages and I demand service I pay for. And of course, no-one is accountable. And yay for public holidays cause a) everyone seems to be going home early on the day before, b) won't do anything on the public holiday and c) probably not going to do anything on Friday either.

Seriously, I don't care about lame excuses. Give me my package!!!
