Wont give money back

I registered with MYcars to bid for a car.
I paid the required R2000 deposit that they say will be returned if your bid is not successful. They take your money with no questions.
When I enquire about the return I get asked for all sorts of information. Rather ridiculous.
However I complied with these requests and have yet to see my money.

Do I have to lodge a grievance with the both the financial services and customer services bureau before I see my money?

Just exactly how do you think this kind of behaviour makes you look? And how many people will want to do business with you if this is the way you conduct yourselves?
