MMI 3G navigation outdated

Ordered Audi A5 Sportback TFSI Mul. in May 2012 with extra MMI 3G multi media and navigation system. The audi.co.ca website says MMI system has "annual map updates". The 3G model has 3G cellular capability to do on-line destination search and use Google maps if ordered with telephone kit.

A5 received Sept '12.By Oct '12 discovered SA map info more than 3 years old and on-line functions cannot be fitted afterwards. Call logged with Audi SA customer care end Oct '12. Audi SA didn't know of me or of A5! After taking down my details and promised a "welcome pack" I was instructed to take A5 to Audi Menlyn to check map version. After 3 attempts Audi Menlyn was able to get info. Audi SA said new map info is available end Nov '12 after several call backs from me. Audi said new map info to be order by Audi Menlyn and available in Jan '13. In Jan '13 I followed up and between Audi SA and Audi Menlyn they lost my case. Then told new map info released in Feb '13 by mid Feb '13 told end of Feb '13 Called customer care on 8 Mar '13 with same excuse.

I was mislead with MMI system, not received "welcome pack", map info is still outdated and I don't seems to get care from Audi custom care!
