Auto Atlantic are unable to repair a BMW - period

I own a number of BMW's and even though I live in the Johannesburg area I have always used Auto
Atlantic to service my 6 series which I keep in Cape Town. This sad saga started over a year ago
when sent my vehicle in to have the fuel gauge checked as the vehicle kept running out of fuel
even though the gauge still registered around a third left. Every time the vehicle goes in they charge
for a diagnostics test and send the vehicle back saying there is not fault but they charge for this. To
add insult to injury they had the car on 2 different occasions for 2 weeks at the end of last year to repair the fact that the car was shutting down. Being disabled I was not impressed when I got stuck twice in the car. I then contacted BMW South Africa - which was a complete waste of time as I had to continually phone them to request they get a senior technician to Auto Atlantic to assist in repairing the MV as Auto Atlantic definitely did not have the staff capable of finding the fault. Eventually after being on holiday for two weeks over Chirstmas with no vehicle they finally discovered it was the alternator that was faulty. Clearly something is very wrong at this dealership.
