Could the following be explained by Speedservices PLEASE?

1. A parcel was sent to me on Monday the 18th Feb 2013.
2. Neither myself nor the sender were aware of the strike
3. When sending the parcel from CPT, the sender was NOT even informed of the strike, but still had to pay speedservices for overnight delivery. Is this not?
4. I tried to log on to speedservices website to track my parcel Tuesday morning. Website not working/unavailable
5. Had to phone and waited forever for someone to help me, just to be informed there is a strike. According to this person the strike started last week Thursday (14 Feb 2013). Why were we not informed?
6. Wednesday 20 Feb I phoned speedservices again as website still not available.
7. The agent said that my parcel was delivered to Aston Manor post office. I was relieved and headed off to the post office. Stood in line forever, just to eventually be told that my parcel has in fact NOT been delivered.
8. Thursday afternoon: Still no parcel and speedservices now admit lying to me on Wednesday as my parcel not delivered.
9. A strike is one thing, lying and can not be blamed on a strike
