I sent a parcel to a very large company in JHB and was therefore charged 3 times as much (R405) as the other two parcels (R150) sent to two other large companies. I was told that because the company was so big and there were many different buildings that the additional charge was to ensure that they locate the correct building and the person they were delivering to.

The parcel was delivered to the first building the courier company could locate and the parcel was signed for by someone and the courier company only got a first name for and not a surname!!! So now we can not locate the person who signed receipt of the parcel as there is no surname to locate them. How stupid can they be to only get a first name!!! I have called the call center of the company that my parcel was delivered to, but because they are so large, there are many people with the same first name! I have now lost R405 for nothing and I am a small independent company starting out! NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL POSTNET! I called Postnet and they can not even track the driver down who delivered the parcel so we can find out what happened to the parcel. I will never use them AGAIN!
