Dishonest Mercedes Benz Dealer in Rosebank

June 2011, I attempted to extend my Mobiplan. I called into a Merc Benz dealer and was told it was, "Way to early" to attempt to extend. I was told I had to wait until the following year from mid year 2012. On 30 May 2012, I made a second attempt at the extension. I was advised I was "still a bit too early." On 24th January, 2013. I checked again and was told the contract expired on 29 January. i called Daimler headquarters to complain. I was told there is absolutely no time imposed on extensions. It can be done anytime. Despite being misled, they refused to extend the contract. I have sent follow up emails to the customer centre to lodge a formal complaint against the dealer in Rosebank and to seek further redress. The email has been ignored.
I want the contract extended as it would have been in 2011 if not for the dishonesty and misinformation by dealers who likely prefer clients to pay full price than to benefit from the maintenance plan. I am disgusted that a prestige brand like Merc supports such behaviour by disadvantaging its customer despite records of my attempts. Merc seems happy that its dealers assist clients to forget or lose track of time. Disappointing!
