Service Complaint

Good Morning

My 2025 Triumph Rocket 3 Storm was due for its annual service last week - It was scheduled for 11.05.2026 but then it was pushed further - I asked Perry Yamaha who has their service centre in uMlanga, Durban if they would collect my bike service it and then I will probably have it collected or they could bring it - I am sure that there would have been a charge for it, which I was more than happy to pay. They transferred me to their receptionist who was also in charge of delivery and she made it very clear that not only could they not collect the bike that day becuase there was not other bike collection call for my area and that I would have to wait until such time as they had any other bike to collect from where I was, which was about 35 km away - oh, and did I mention that I was more than happy to pay for the collection and transport. So here is my issue with this whole thing - first, my day are quite busy as I am finance and governance manager for many companies, so time is not a luxury I have. Second the services is due and I am ashamed to say that I have had the bike for a year and have only managed 1600 kms in 12 months and third, I paid close to 500k for that bike and I really expected some decent treatment or a little indulgence from your service agents when it comes to helping out here and there - and not a flat out no and thumbing your nose without even getting the details of why he bike had to come in. So as much as I have taken the bike there on a busy Saturday so that the service will, hopefully, get done today (Monday 18th) and I will arrange for collection - I am only doing it because there is no other Triumph Service centre here in Durban. I really don't expect much to be done about this, because everybody is afraid of their own shadows these days and most of the guys at Perry are really decent and helpful guys but I just though you should know so that another Triumph owner doesn't get the same ice cold and un-helpful treatment as I did.
