Beware if you make use of Book-a-Bakkie

I phoned the mentioned company to book a truck to transport goods to Gansbay for Saturday 2 February... 300km return... Quote was R3605 incl driver. Plus R1500 deposit... When I enquire about my deposit on following monday, the response was as follows: 1. I must pay driver overtime, because truck was only available for 3.5 hours. 2. I must pay xstra, because of weekend... Weekly rates was given... Book-a-bakkie did not gave all the detail beforehand, for me to make an informed decision. Nothing was mentioned that truck is only available for 3.5hours! And, what company will give mid-week quote for a saturday? I lodge a complaint to managing director of Spartan... Then Arnold, director, phoned me with this absolute bad attitude... No managerial skills at all! Going on and on that I had a good service, nothing was broken...??? Can you believe that...??? I tried to tell him that I would not have made use of their services at all if I knew about the hidden clauses!!! Did not gave me any time to talk... Needless to say... No deposit was paid back to me!!! Please, be aware if you want to hire a bakkie or truck from book-a-bakkie and Spartan joint venture... Please!
