Finding and keeping my cellphone

We stopped to fill up with petrol at the CIty Engen garage in Umtata and when I got out the car, unbeknown to me, my cellphone fell on the floor. I only discovered this hours later when we arrived at our holiday destination in the Eastern Cape. When I rang my number, Siye, one of the petrol attendants answered my phone. He explained that he had picked it up and was trying to find the owner. It is so nice to come across someone who is so honest. He was genuinely happy that I had found my cellphone and sent me an sms to this effect, assuring me that it would be kept safely until I returned on our way home to collect the phone. My compliment is a bit late - this happened early December but I really hope that the Engen management team rewards its honest staff.
