Budget Rent A Car
How did i come to paying R2749.38

My Reference is LB95952, This booking was made online and confirmations were made telephonically. Firstly i made a booking for collection on the 25th January to 28th January. However due to change in flight details i called prior to collecting the car to make changes to return the car on the 29th January. Please note the rate was R153.33 PER day for the special pay 2days for 3 hiring days and extra 4th day amount Three hundred some odd with 200km free as it was stated and as per rental agreement. The total amount upon enquery was amounting to R940 This amount included R60 contract fee excluding petrol. On the date of collection nothing was requested only the ID number and licence as usual no other documentation i was informed to bring. The car was returned on the 29th as per arrangement at 06h30 morning. The km out were 4555 and returned at 4815 meaning i utilised 260KM. The petrol was not even close to half a tank upon return it moved only two lines from full tank. I personaly feel ripped off when a DEDUCTION of R2749.38 was deducted by budget. Im asking myself how did Budget come to that amount. I called information desk and was reffered to Durban Office.
