Danmar Autobody Sandton
11 Weeks to repair car and still not done

My car was damaged in an accident on 14 November 2012 and was towed to Danmar Autobody in Sandton. My Insurance approved repairs on 21 / 22 November 2012. It is now 2 days short of 11 weeks since repairs were approved and I still do not have my car back. This is absurd.
For weeks none of our calls were returned. Eventually we escalated the matter to our insurance at the end of December 2012 / beginning of January 2013 and for a while we got regular feedback from Bongi. She promised that I would have my car on 16 Jan 13. Her promises did not bear any fruit. After serious telephonic arguments, Danmar hired a car for me which I have been using for the last 2 weeks and which I am grateful for. For a while we received feedback from Ruby - the last feedback was on 29 January 2013. Their failure to meet their promises has cost me in petrol (initially driving my husband's 4 liter, 4x4), severe inconvenience to my family and damage to my reputation and career because they failed to deliver the car on the promised date (I missed an important meeting). I have never been this disappointed and will not recommend them to my worst enemy
