7 days post-handing in of car, no courtesy ca

Cars & Transport

On 2 January 2014 I took my car in for repairs to the Renault Cape Town Service Centre - a Franchise of Renault SA based in Paarden Eiland.

6 Working days later, they informing me that they picked up more issues with the vehicle. And for at least 3 days there was no communication whatsoever which made me assume all is well with the car and I can now go and collect.

It would just be common sense that if an experience motor vehicle engineer look at a faulty car and as an example removed one part that he/she would see that something else is also faulty. When the gearbox was removed any blind man would have seen the other part in question was also faulty/worn.

Now on the 6th working day (today 10 January 2014) I am being told of this.

Secondly I have a holiday booked a year ago to depart on Monday 13 January 2014 and I'm highly in need of my vehicle which they now have not fixed, but they refuse to grant me a courtesy vehicle in order for me to get around and also to go on holiday as I can't change my booking at such short notice and will forfeit my money.

The Renault staffer named Luke was not helpful at all... And did not show any compassion or offered any alternatives.
