Making me feel like criminal for their mistake

On Friday 3 January 2013 at about 4h50, my husband and I went to the service station in Pres Steyn ave in Pretoria North. My husband requested to fill with R150 only, he even confirmed a second time as it seemed that the guy was fast asleep. My husband went to the shop and on his return, the guy filled with R500. Without even apologizing he blamed us and wanted to keep something of ours if we do not pay the additional R350. A lady also filling her car mentioned that the same thing happened to her son. They made us feel like criminals, even the manager, Phillip who was called did not apologize for THEIR mistake. They took our details and even called us since to enquire when payment will be made after we told them that we will pay at the end of the month. This is unacceptable as I am the client and was not at fault. The money should then rather be deducted from the worker as he is the one at fault. This seems like regular practice at this service station and cannot continue like this
