15 phone calls and still no delivery!!!

My package was meant to be delivered on 2 January as confirmed by one of RTT's managers. It's 8pm on 3 Jan and I still don't have my package. Apparently the driver recorded that the package wasn't delivered because "the premises was closed for the holidays". It's a residential address so that excuse doesn't fly. Nobody followed up from RTT and nobody could really assist me when I called their offices..amazing customer service. Their ops staff "guaranteed" that it would definitely be delivered today (3 Jan) but again nothing arrived and no phone call from them. I managed to get a hold of a manager (Jaco) from another division who did his best to contact the people responsible and I thank him for his efforts. I was meant to be contacted by Victor, the responsible branch manager, but at the time of writing its been 1.5 hours and nobody has contacted me.
If you check the website's tracking tool it says my package is "out for delivery". So either they've lost it or someone else has my package. If I was the branch manager I'd find my package and drive it out to personally tonight!
The onus really shouldn't be on me to chase after RTT for items that belong to me.
