Mazda says 10000km for bake wear is okay

Cars & Transport

Mazda vehicle goes through brakes every 10 000km and requires disks to be skimmed. I have complained at every service that this cannot be right and that I will have to replace the disks early. Mazda dealerships have refused to entertain my complaints and state that this sort of brake wear is not unusual. At 80000km I have spent a fortune on brakes, skimming and new disk and for the first time a dealership suggests I use a different brake pad which should get better results. Mazda themselves say that complaining to their dealership is not sufficient and because they did not know about the problem it is not their problem.
LESSONS LEARNT: 1) MAZDA CONSIDERS BRAKE REPLACEMENT AT 10 000KM TO BE NORMAL 2) IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR MAZDA, DON'T BOTHER WITH THE DEALERSHIP, GO DIRECTLY TO MAZDA AS THEY WILL PRETEND LIKE YOU NEVER SAID ANYTHING BEFORE IF YOU DONT
