Reckless Driving - CA 380-869

Wet weather and wet roads. At the corner of the Old Pretoria Road R101 and Le Roux Ave Halfway House, the driver of the Berco Express delivery van CA 380-869 decided to use the right turning lane to go straight and get around the traffic like the taxis. In the process, he almost collided with my vehicle.

Thereafter, just before Douglas Road, the R101 narrows from 2 lanes to 1 lane. This driver refused to give way to a vehicle that was ahead of him and proceeded to force his way in on the left to the extent that he had to put 2 wheels on the dirt in order to complete his reckless move.

It just so happened that his destination was my office park. I confronted him and told him that he should drive more carefully and not recklessly. He got very irate and pulled the card stating that it is because I am a 'white' man and that I am a ''. This is clearly defensive behavior and an attack due to the fact that he knows he is guilty.

Oh and for the record - I am a 'Chinese' man.

This man is a 'professional' driver and does so for a living. These should be the best driver on the road. And recklessness can not be accepted. I certainly will think twice about using Berco.
