Mr Halfton Removals
Unreliable

On Oct 21 I paid Mr Halfton a deposit to secure their moving services. On the Nov 30 we called & the driver confirmed that the movers will be there at 1pm. I called at 1pm with no answer. After > 70 phonecalls and a drive to their premises we heard nothing. We eventually arranged for another company to move us at 6.30pm. After further calls with no answer, we eventually got a hold of Dushkin (M D) who insisted that we would be paid our deposit back by the end of the week. We called repeatedly and only got half our deposit back on the 25 Nov (after repeated calling & messaging), with the assurance that we would be paid the other half by the end of the week. I sms'ed him my banking details & my Husband called him & went to his offices after which he again made empty payment promises without payment. To date we have not received the second half of the money. We have called repeatedly with the promise that we would be paid by the end of the day/week with no follow-up. I am now failing to get a hold of Dushkin to rectify the situation which he has not attended to. He is not taking our calls from any numbers. For Your Sanity, I urge you not to entrust Mr Half Ton removals with any business!
