DHL in SA linked to post office

NEVER NEVER NEVER use DHL to send parcels from Europe to SA. DHL uses the useless Post Office to deliver/distribute their parcels in SA. I tried to get a package delivered quickly from Germany. The sender offered DHL Premium. I wrongly assumed a door-to-door service by DHL. When I started making enquiries I was referred to the incompetent Post Office who has probably lost the parcel. They say they could not make delivery yesterday although there was always someone home to receive it -! Today they can't tell me where the parcel is! They have promised to call me back twice. Yes, you guessed it - 2 hours later - still nothing. Apparently they can't make contact with the driver and their system does not show that it has been returned to the depot.
UTTERLY UNACCEPTABLE, USELESS, PATHETIC and sadly true to form!
