Land Rover South Africa
Still waiting for feedback since Monday 25 Nov

Cars & Transport

It all started on Sunday when the Evoque of mine did not want to start. Bear in my mind this vehicle was purchased on the 29th of July 2013, so its not even 4 months old. Not even 1550km on the clock. I did all the back up procedures to try and start the vehicle and it still did not want to start. I then waited from 12:30 until 16:30 for roadside assist to send a tow truck driver who knew what to do. If I was stranded in a desert I might as well have cut my throat... Monday I phoned Constantia to enquire about the problems the with the car and informed the sales manager Alwyn that I am not happy with a new vehicle giving me problems already (I had a coolant problem on same car a month back also). The price I paid was NOT for a demo or defaulted car. Alwyn informed he would get back to me the same day (Monday). As I post this it is Friday and I have no clue whether the problem has been sorted or what the situation is. So since Monday I don't have a vehicle. It seems as though he could care less about my complaints because at the end of the day I'm not a new customer I'm an existing customer so who gives a. Next week I shall be taking this matter further and if need be legally.
