Lyndhurst Auto
Cant fix problems & poor follow up

Cars & Transport

I first had my BMW E90 320i serviced by Lyndhurst Auto in 2011 after a number of very bad experiences at Northcliff BMW. The initial service was very good and follow up was great. However, since a subsequent service in June of 2012 my vehicle has made an incessant knocking noise when braking and there is intermittent grating feedback through the brake pedal when slowing during town driving.
Five service calls, detailed examinations by several 'qualified' technicians and the replacement of various components including all discs, the diff and front suspension components has failed to resolve the issue. Even my most recent call to the service mangaer himself has elicited no action or even the offer of a courtesy vehicle. Interestingly, the most recent attempt to solve the problem is listed as an Oil Change on the BMW Owners Circle portal

Its clear that Lyndhurst Auto is at a complete loss on how to solve the issue and has totally abdicated responsibility. I doubt the abilities of any of their technicians considering they all stated they know 'exactly what the problem was'. I am happy to say this is the last time I ever purchase a BMW as these are only some of the issues I have had
