I was driving home from work when all of a sudden I heard a loud bang, it sounded like a mini explosion. I checked my windscreen - nothing, I heard glass cracking and looked up to find that my Sunroof had shattered into a million pieces. I immediately phoned the BMW dealership where I had bought the car from in February 2013, they told me to bring the car in. The very next morning I took the car in, the workshop manager took photos of the shattered sunroof and said he would have to revert the matter to the Regional Manager. The regional manager said he was aware of instances like this, but maintained that the glass is not covered under warranty, and if I am not happy with the decision I should revert to Customer Care. Customer Care reverted back with the same conclusion that the glass is not covered under the Warranty Terms & Conditions, but, they did not even speak to me personally to hear my side of the story, and said that it is their ''believe'' a stone caused this damage. Well not according to Professor Tarek Zohdi, he says this is impossible - check it out on the internet. BMW prides themselves on Customer Care??? Is this how a loyal customer over 10 years gets cared for?
