I took my vehicle in for a service. I travelled 170 km that morning to be in time for the workshop that opened at 7h30 that morning. I stressed that I had to travel back before dark as the roads are very dangerous at night, especially with wild game roaming the countryside. I pointed out a few extra items that needed attention, such as the gearbox making a noise in second gear, replace broken mudflap and replace fasteners of plastic guard that fell out. I requested a courtesy car - none were available. They then dropped me at a shopping mall and told me they would collect me as soon as the vehicle was ready. the time stamp of completion on the job card was 14h14. I however was only picked up at 17h00 because they had no driver available and the other person they sent could not "find" the exit of the mall where I was waiting. The extra items that I pointed out was not attended to.
