Two months ago my husband was in an accident, where truck lost its load and the goods were scattered in the road.. The only visible damage to the B-class at the time was the cracked windscreen.By the time he got to his destination, he noticed that there was oil linkages. We phoned our broker in Absa who organised for the car to be towed to the nearest town which was Polokwane. The vehicle insured with Absa and it was taken to their accredited repairer, Royal Auto body. It took 2 months for them to repair it, and believe you me when I say that it is the worst repair I have ever seen. Firstly the car was returned filthy with smudges all over the seats, there's an awful sound coming out of the engine you would swear that its a truck. Worst of all there is still oil linkages. We tried to get them to fix it properly and we are being sent from pillar to post by the insurance assessor who refuses to authorize further repairs. Today we spoke to the manager, Wayne at Royal Auto body for an explanation and he responded that "he did all he could for that car". Our car is worse of than it was and I don't believe that they even fixed it yet we pay Absa monthly and they refuse to authorize.
