Damage of furniture in transit

During our recent move, conducted by Mini Movers, a prized 2 piece lounge suite was badly damaged by the shuttle Driver. His staff tried to stop him coming up the steep driveway as they saw that the trailer was too close to the wall on the left hand side.
He failed to listen & scraped the whole rear of the couch, breaking one of the uprights & tearing the leather fabric.
My wife phoned the Manager, Mike, who suggested they take the suite away to have repaired. At that stage we were impressed as it was all very professionally done.
After 2 weeks the couch has been delivered back to us & we have found, to our horror, that a vinyl patch has been stitched on & the scrapes painted with a dye, which only serves to accentuate the scratches rather then hide them.
The issue has now been to get Mini Movers to respond - they have gone deadly quiet & are clearly avoiding our attempts to get hold of them.
The repair is a joke & the couch has to be pushed up against a wall to hide the rear!
