Dud BMW323i

Cars & Transport

Bought a BMW323i in April 2011 through BMW fin services. Last year November with less than 60, 000km on the clock it breaks down - fair enough.

Took it to Auto Bavaria in Midrand who promised me it's fixed now - nothing serious... Guess what? Another breakdown - SAME PROBLEM, now with 69, 000 on the clock. Phoned BMW SA who then towed it in and gave me a brand new 118i as loan (thank you - that really got my hopes up you were willing to sort me out - after all it's only my 7th BMW)

Yeah right! I got my scrap metal back, and, wait for it: THEY CAN NOT GUARANTEE ME THAT IT WILL NOT BREAK DOWN AGAIN WITH THE SAME PROBLEM!!!
Got a last call yesterday "Mr Dreyer if it breaks down again we'll have a look at it..." I put the phone down on her.

Oh yeah I almost forgot; it had another not so serious problem. Not joking, this was the answer I got:: "The power steering just feels so hard because you have low profile tyres and the body is heavy" - I bought it with those tyres - so BMW puts tyres the power steering can not hande - REALLY???
