X1 BMW 2.0D Cutch plate burned with 620 KM

Cars & Transport

On the 4th of November 2013 I traded the X1 BMW 2.0i which is a petrol 2012 model with 12577 km for a X1 BMW 2.0D (Diesel) 2013 model at Centurion branch. On the 11th of November the cutch plate burned. It was towed to BMW Leo Haese Hatfield. On the 19th of November I called the BMW Leo Haese Hatfield to find out about the progress, then the lady who is responsible for my car her name is Marlies contact 012 366 3000, said that the cutch plate of my car is burned due to negligence and the motor plan will not pay for it and I need to pay R8, 500 -/ for them to fix it. My problem is how can I burn a cutch plate of a new X1 BMW 20SD from the box which is only drove 620 KM? After taking the following into account:
1. I have 10 years expenses in driving and I never had a problem of burning the cutch plate.
2. In 10 November 2012 I bought an X1 BMW 2.0i together with Z4 BMW 2.0i.
3. I traded in my X1 BMW2.0i with 12577 KM for BMW 2.0D because I was advised that the diesel is more economical that the petrol,
I also spoke to Mmanana contact 0800 600 555 from BMW Call centre, seeking advice and she was also amazed as to how can I burn a clutch plate of a new car with only 620 KM?
