Last week Friday (13/11/11) they told us me may collect our vehicle only to find MANY faults on it: Rubber trim missing
Rusted bolds used for re-assembly
Dent in brand new bumper
NEW PAINT PEALING OFF
Over spray
We're didn't expect this after 3 weeks without transport. We asked for assistance with a small dent (not part of claim) to be fixed. Got quoted R 2800! Explanation by Jan was due to pricey paint.
This is a joke as they painted the panel in any case to do "blending". So they just painted over the dent. UNREAL!
We didn't take the vehicle yet we got a call saying that we neglected to sign a document to confirm that we're happy. Huh?
Budget Insurance gave me the option to take the cash or accept the quote. Have I know better I would have NEVER trusted Randfontein Panel beaters.
I shudder to think what other problems we'll encounter when we enter round 2 to collect it.
