Took my vehicle in at Gearmax Nelspruit for a recon gearbox. I was informed that the job would be done in two weeks, however, each time I enquire about the status I am told the vehicle will be ready by the end of the week. This is now two months later. In the meantime I am still paying instalments on the car and since I am using it for business I have had to hire a replacement vehicle for three weeks. This has now become uneconomical and my spouse had to lend me her vehicle. The period that i am now waiting is unreasonable and is a huge inconvenience given that i will be paying for the repairs. There is not even courtesy to give me a proper report on the car, I have to run after them as if they are doing me a favour. This is a totally bad service. The losses I have incurred by now are equating to the estimated amount for the recon gearbox!!!
