We brought in our vehicle a VW Polo 1.4 for a service. When my fiance collected it in the afternoon, the service consultant Ritesh went through the service report with him and told him that the noise we were hearing on the vehicle was a result of a faulty steering rack and it needed to be replaced. They agreed that the consultant will order the steering rack for the vehicle and will then call us to bring it in for repairs. He said that this will take no more than two weeks. Its been six weeks now and he hasn't called us and the vehicle hasn't been repaired. When we call him, he tells us that the part hasn't arrived and he will call us as soon as it is available but nothing has happened. When we called other branches they told us that its quicker and at most it takes 10 days to receive a part and fit it. We've been using Alpine motors for years as most of our vehicles are VW and we are so disappointed in their recent service. We just want our vehicle to be fixed urgently.
