MISLEADING FUEL CONSUMPTION

Make reference to the above vehicle to highlight a few concerns that will at a later stage impact negatively on me should I intend to sell or trade it in.

Please note that I have addressed these concerns since I acquired the vehicle. One was the change to the engine amongst other queries. I have been doing research on my vehicle and found out via, that I am not the only one encountering issues with the common default like others that have lodged their grievances. I intend to do the same, should someone not speak to us about resolving these issues.

My concerns are as follows:

I have researched the stats on the consumption and my vehicle, as per the stats reads as follows;

a) Its fuel consumption in a combined cycle is among the leaders in this area, ranging from 8.4L/100km on a 9.6L/100km on a full-option 4x4 model1.

I am currently getting 11.5 to 12l/100km, which is nowhere near the stats. The vehicle is being driven at a maximum of 140kmh, yet I do not enjoy the stipulated consumption. I have addressed this with the dealer and Rajesh. I am told that after conducting all the tests etc, the vehicle IS OK. UNBELIEVABLE!!!
